These terms govern use of the ValourSec services operated by Cybernetic Research AI. Read them alongside the relevant certification requirements, assessment instructions, checkout details, and Privacy Policy.
1. Services & eligibility
ValourSec provides certification applications, professional review, learning resources, practical labs, examinations, and credential verification. You must provide accurate information and have legal capacity to enter into any purchase. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Access depends on the requirements and availability shown for the relevant service.
2. Applications & invitations
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, enrollment, or certification. Applications are reviewed against the relevant certification requirements. Where invitation-only access applies, an approved invitation is required to create or enroll through the candidate account. Existing account holders may accept an invitation using their account. An invitation is personal and must not be transferred or used to misrepresent another person.
3. Account responsibilities
Keep account credentials and invitation links secure. Do not share access, impersonate others, or attempt to enter a portal or resource without authorization. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. Candidate and administrator access are separate, and permissions depend on the role assigned to the account.
4. Learning, labs & authorized testing
Use labs and practical assessment resources only within their stated scope and time limits. A certification or lab account does not authorize testing of third-party systems. Do not attack infrastructure outside the assigned targets, interfere with other participants, extract unrelated data, or use assessment resources for unlawful activity. Machine availability, files, and resource limits are governed by the instructions for that activity.
5. Examinations & integrity
Follow the examination instructions, permitted-tool rules, timing, and submission requirements. Do not impersonate another candidate, obtain unauthorized assistance, share restricted questions or flags, or falsify evidence. Suspected integrity violations may be reviewed and can lead to access restriction, attempt invalidation, or credential revocation. Contact us to raise an assessment concern or request review of a decision.
6. Fees, access & refunds
Applicable fees, included access, subscriptions, expiry dates, and assessment entitlements are shown before purchase. Payment or application approval alone does not award a credential. Under the standard refund policy, an unstarted examination attempt is refundable within 14 days of purchase; once started, it is non-refundable, subject to applicable statutory rights. Any additional product-specific conditions must be shown before purchase. Contact us with the transaction reference for payment or refund enquiries.
7. Credentials & verification
Credentials are issued only after the relevant assessment requirements are met. Use a credential accurately and only while its status and scope support your claim. Credentials must not be sold, transferred, altered, or presented as professional authorization beyond their stated scope. Validity and renewal requirements are defined by the certification scheme. The public register may show valid, expired, or revoked status.
8. Content & submissions
ValourSec branding, learning materials, assessment content, and platform resources are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Access does not grant permission to redistribute restricted materials. You remain responsible for your submissions and must have permission to provide any third-party evidence. We may use submitted information to review applications, evaluate assessments, and maintain the services as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Availability & responsibility
Services may be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues, or security reasons. A credential does not guarantee employment, promotion, compensation, or a particular business outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for indirect or consequential losses is excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes & enquiries
We may update these terms and publish the revision date here. Material changes to purchased services will be communicated where required. Applicable consumer rights continue to apply.
