    Map the trust boundaries.

    Separate the user request, retrieved content, model instructions, and tool permissions. Explain which inputs should be treated as untrusted and why.

  2. 02

    Plan an authorized evaluation.

    Describe a controlled test, the behavior you would observe, and the evidence needed to distinguish a retrieval problem from a tool-permission problem.

  3. 03

    Recommend a defensible control.

    Compare input handling, tool restrictions, output checks, and monitoring. Explain which risk each control addresses and what remains uncertain.
