Application fields identify which information is required. Applying on the public website does not require a candidate account.
Account, assessment & technical records
Portal services maintain account access records, enrollment and application decisions, learning progress, lab activity, examination attempts, scores, and reviewer feedback. Technical records may include browser or device information, IP addresses, request timestamps, and security events. Where an assessment uses proctoring or records additional evidence, the applicable instructions explain what is collected before participation.
How information is used

The verification record does not publish the holder’s email, examination score, or private assessment submissions. Information that you publish yourself, such as a credential or evidence link, may be visible to others.

The public website operates independently of candidate and administrator sign-in sessions. Authenticated portals use cookies for session security and request protection. Theme and display preferences may be stored in your browser. Hosting services may process technical information for security and delivery; these records are distinct from certification application information.
Retention & security
Information is retained according to its purpose, including application review, active accounts, assessment integrity, credential verification, transaction records, and applicable legal obligations. Some credential and transaction records may need to remain after an account is closed.
